Jaap van Deijk 's Art Page

I admire the work of Edward Hopper , the great American painter who lived from 1882 until 1967. On this page you can download a few of his paintings by clicking on the thumbnails. I am convinced that you like his work as much as I do.

Another favourite artist is Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema who lived from 1839 until 1912.He lived in England, but was originally born in the Netherlands (Friesland). His paintings are rich of colors and most of the time situated in ancient times. Click on the thumbnails to download larger picture.

A Great Artist is John W. Waterhouse ,who lived from 1849 until 1917. On this page you can download a few of his paintings by clicking on the thumbnails.

In december 1997 I heard for the first time of Jack Vettriano ,a scottish painter born in 1953 and he is becoming more and more popular these years.

Here you can see a few posters which are sold by Portland Galleries and painted by Jack Vettriano. Unfortunately I do not have bigger images than these.
